1. Create the Rocking Base
Take a large circle of cardstock (your chosen UFO base color) and fold it exactly in half to create a semi-circle. This folded edge is what allows the UFO to rock back and forth on a flat surface!
2. Assemble the Alien
- Glue the alien’s antennae to the top of its head.
- Use a Sharpie to draw a friendly (or curious!) face.
- Glue the alien’s head to its small body.
3. Build the Cockpit
- Take the “glass” part of the template (usually a smaller semi-circle or dome shape) and glue your alien onto the center of the UFO base.
- Place the glass piece over the alien so it looks like they are sitting inside the cockpit.
4. Add the Space Lights
UFOs need plenty of glowing lights! Glue the small colorful circles from the template along the curved edge of the UFO base. You can use contrasting colors like bright yellow, neon green, or glowing orange to make them pop.
5. Let it Hover
Stand the UFO up on its folded edge. Give it a gentle tap, and watch it rock and roll as if it’s navigating through a galaxy far, far away!
