Cupcake Liner Angel Craft

Cupcake Liner Angel Craft

Add a touch of handmade charm to your tree this year with this Cupcake Liner Angel Craft! It’s recyclable, eco-friendly, and incredibly easy to make. We love taking everyday household items—like cupcake liners and toilet paper rolls—and turning them into something magical.

Supplies Required

  • Cupcake liners (White, silver, or patterned)
  • Craft paper (Assorted colors for skin tones and hair)
  • Golden or shiny paper (For the halo)
  • Scissors and Craft glue
  • Sharpies or markers
  • Angel Template

How to Make the Cupcake Liner Angel

  1. Prepare the Template: Download and print the template. It includes the face, hair, and halo. Since we want our crafts to be inclusive, feel free to use various shades of cardstock to represent different ethnicities.
  2. Assemble the Head: * Glue the hairpiece onto the top of the face.
    • Use your Sharpie to draw a sweet, peaceful expression—two closed eyes with lashes and a small smile look lovely!
  3. Add the Halo: Glue the golden (or yellow) halo to the back of the head so it peeks out over the top like a crown of light.
  4. Create the Body: Take your cupcake liner and fold it in half. Then, fold it into a “cone” or triangular shape. This will be the angel’s gown.
    • Pro Tip: Flatten the liner slightly before folding to make it easier to glue.
  5. Wings and Assembly: * You can use a second cupcake liner cut in half to create wings, or cut wing shapes out of your leftover golden paper.
    • Glue the wings to the back of the folded cupcake liner body.
    • Finally, glue the head to the top of the body.
  6. Add a Hanger: If you want to use this as an ornament, loop a piece of string or ribbon and tape it to the back of the halo.
